Emily Stern - Data Analytics and Research
Working to find good answers for difficult problems.

Emily Stern is a Data Analyst at the Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), a nonprofit committed to cutting child poverty in Dallas in half within 20 years. Born and raised in the Dallas area, she’s excited to apply her analytical skills to generating insights to drive progress towards this goal in her hometown.
Emily brings three years of experience working with children and families. Her diverse roles in direct service, program evaluation, and academic research have given her a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to help community-based programs be successful, both in practice and in theory. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and is currently completing her Master’s in Social Data Analytics and Research at the University of Texas at Dallas.
